Founding Story
CropWave is the first one-stop solution in apple farming and proudly the best apple farming platform in India. Founded in October 2024, CropWave combines technology, services, and on-ground support to transform the apple farming ecosystem.
The story begins with our founder, Parwant Samta, from a small village in Rohru, Himachal Pradesh—the heart of India’s apple belt. During the COVID-19 lockdown, while still in college, Parwant witnessed the daily struggles of his parents and fellow farmers: lack of proper advisory, poor access to quality inputs, post-harvest losses, and market uncertainties. Determined to create change, he studied agriculture, horticulture practices, and market systems to understand farmer challenges deeply. This knowledge and vision led to the birth of CropWave, designed as a leading platform for apple farming services in Himachal Pradesh and across India.
